With a 25-year transferrable structural warranty, we stand behind the quality of our homes to provide you and future owners peace of mind and to guarantee the integrity of your house for next generations.
Whether or whether someone calls our houses home, we stand behind their structural integrity.
We are sure you will spend many years making treasured memories with total confidence and peace of mind. Should you decide to sell your house within the guarantee period, the new owner will gain from the same degree of confidence you experienced throughout Grand Home building.
It's Home. Built to Last.
Using only the best materials and finishes in your new house will help us to meet higher design and build standards. The Grand Home provides a 25-year* guarantee on the structural performance of its frames and slabs in line with this dedication to quality.
Any future owner of your Grand Home will be able to enjoy the same level of security and peace of mind you did for the whole 25-year guarantee period*.
Though we are sure you will adore your Grand Home, it might not be your "forever home." You are investing in quality for the future, and that is one certainty. Should you wish to sell, the 25-year structural guarantee* will improve the equity and value of your house.
Provided a claim is lodged 25 years from the date of practical completion, we promise to fix any structural failure of the steel frame, timber frame, concrete slab, or footing at no cost to the owner. According Australian Standard 2870, structural failure is damage categorised as Category 3 or above.
This warranty could be revoked at our discretion should the structural collapse result from:
1. Storm damage; fire damage; flooding; damage from later building projects
2. Sites conditions, retaining walls, or trees
3. Events beyond of our influence including latent conditions
4. Not keeping the site in good condition includes site drainage needs and termite treatments
5. Ignoring the current guidance on footing and upkeep from the CSIRO handbook
Subject to the same conditions and restrictions, if you sell your house the new owner can profit from this assurance. The new owner has to: move the guarantee.
1. Tell us using our dedicated notice form six months after you have registered as the owner.
2. Send a copy of the notification produced by our online form.
3. Provide access for an inspection to evaluate any actions or omissions of the former owner that would have nullified the assurance.
This extended structural guarantee only applies to homes where the original construction contract clearly includes the guarantee and a tender acceptance fee paid following 1 July 2022.
